Vijayadharshini Sundarpandian, the founder of Nizhalalagam NGO, introduced it on social media on July 27th, 2018. The platform brings together supporters of the organisation and new volunteers who are very specific about the organization's mission. And which may assist others and us in locating those in need of assistance.
Origin of "Out Reach Program"

The session was organised by Vijayadharshini Sundarpandian, founder of Nizhalalagam NGO, at Bethany Children's Home in Madurai's bypass. The origin of the outreach program in Nizhalalagam was launched by performing this pride orientation session. The universe is in need of talents, and everyone possesses various talents, but identifying the talent within oneself is quite tough.

Logo Launch

"HANDS FOR THOSE IN NEED" is our organization's motto, and the logo symbolizes hands that help and offer compassion to others. On August 5, 2018, our Nizhalalagam founder Vijayadharshini Sundarpandian had a logo launch event on Instagram and Whatsapp to help people remember us.
Session 1- Out Reach Program

Vijaydarshini Sundarapandian, the founder of the Nizhalalagam NGO in Madurai, organised an outreach programme called "Learning New Languages." Hindi classes were held for the children of the Bethany Children's Home in Madurai. Educating children in communicational languages is critical and beneficial to their communication.

Scribe Examination

Srinithi Pandian & Janani from Nizhalalagam organised fieldwork programmed for the scribe exams at St. Joseph School for the Blind. The physically challenged person we encountered would be selling something, but when we recognized the importance of the physically challenged person's education and the curiosity of the blind school children, we assisted them in writing their exam.

Social media has been a great platform for us. When in need of volunteers our Nizhalalagam NGO reached out through social media. We made a post about volunteers meeting in Rajaji park. Many volunteers reached us through this poster.
Session 2 - Out Reach Program

Our Nizhalalagam's First Team organised the outreach initiative. Every youngster in the outreach session was overjoyed throughout the presentation. Making them dance also brought out their extracurricular skills, which helped to strengthen their talent. Our first outreach programme in Bethany Children's Home is to learn Hindi, and our second outreach programme in the home is to engage children in entertaining activities.

In Goripalayam Mosque we provided food to 230 people in need. A person can live with anything but should not live with hunger. According to the words of great poet Bharathi " If the common man is unable to obtain food, then destroy the world" because hunger is something that no one should have to face.

Kerala Relief

Our turn to support and help the people who suffer from the flood. And within 48 hours our team collected the amount and On October 21, 2018, we contributed this to the Kerala Relief funds. We were surprised that we have collected Rupees 1 lakh 75 thousand amount through various sources and by social media where this situation shows the crucial role of social media.

And celebrate the festival of Diwali with children and made them happy and we have given the information about why we celebrate Diwali and make them knowledgeable on every account when we have time. The festivals of India are very popular because we follow our tradition of celebrating the festivals together with everyone. We have collected funds through the social media platforms and using that funds we purchased goods for the celebration.

The delta districts are the main food source of the total Tamil Nadu and they help us by supplying food that is very necessary for our life. On 21st November 2018, we had an opportunity to help delta districts we started a motion called SAVE DELTA. Our team of Nizhalalagam collaborated with Radio City Team Madurai and sent relief goods, food, basic needs, cloths, and many day-to-day needs.

We sent our second relief goods which were collected and delivered by our team. We heard information about that and our team individually visited there and helped them. We helped around 1500 families who are not able to get their basic needs and their houses were damaged and they don't even have a place to stay.
